The LGBTQ Victory Hall of Fame – launched in April 2021 – honors the LGBTQ elected officials, appointed officials and candidates who made significant contributions to advancing LGBTQ political power and equality.
To be eligible for the LGBTQ Victory Hall of Fame, individuals must openly identify as LGBTQ, be a former or current elected official, appointed official or candidate and have made demonstrable and significant advancements to LGBTQ equality in that role. Only former elected officials, appointed officials and candidates were eligible for the Founding Class.
All nominees for the Hall of Fame are put to a vote by the One Victory Board of Directors, which chooses the inductees. Three new members will be inducted each December as part of an annual class, beginning in December 2021. Former and current LGBTQ elected officials, appointed officials and candidates are eligible for induction into the annual classes.
